Solar Air, Inc. introduces the latest GERM CONTROL for air disinfection using low wattage, high efficiency, long life (10,000 hours) ultraviolet quartz lamps.

All microorganisms contain nucleic acids which react with UVC at 254 nm range resulting in destruction of DNA of the organism. This process usually takes only a few seconds, depending on the intensity of the light source. The result is dependent on the total UVC dosage required to eliminate a given bacteria.
